Relationships between journalists and PR professionals are fundamental, but often underestimated, misunderstood, or worse, damaged by clich\u00e9s, tight schedules, and misplaced expectations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This awareness led to the creation of PRova a scrivermi<\/strong> (Try writing to me), the column we at Le Royale PR designed to bridge the gap between those who write the news and those who propose it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is it about?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

PRova a scrivermi (Try writing to me) is an editorial column<\/strong> launched in 2022 and designed as an open space for dialogue: on the one hand, journalists, with their point of view on what works (and doesn’t work) in the pitches they receive every day and in their daily work; on the other, PR professionals looking for concrete ideas to improve their approach, write better, be more effective, and above all, be more respectful of others’ work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each episode of the column is structured like a mini-interview: one journalist at a time, seven specific questions and one implied question<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat can we do to improve our daily relationship?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The answer is free, honest, never filtered, and always valuable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why did we create it?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Because we PR professionals are the first ones who need to question ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an age where emails number in the hundreds and reading time is measured in seconds, understanding what journalists really need is the only way to continue building solid, lasting professional relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And let’s face it, it was time to bring some truth to our industry, which is made up of too much theory and too little shared practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Try writing to me is also an invitation to listen<\/strong>. A small exercise in humility, but also in professionalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
